Abstract:Time series anomaly detection is an important process for system monitoring and model switching, among other applications in cyber-physical systems. In this document, we present a fast subspace method for time series anomaly detection, with a relatively low computational cost, that has been designed for anomaly detection in real sensor signals corresponding to dynamical systems. We also present some general results corresponding to the theoretical foundations of our method, together with a prototypical algorit… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
