A Study on the Role of Technology as Shadow Educator Post COVID-19

Abstract

The discipline which involves teaching and learning process is termed as education. The career which helps to earn a livelihood is mainly based on a person's education. It helps to decide on the right path. It gives respect within society. Self-confidence, knowledge development, personality development, improving the status of the family are a few other benefits of education. Tremendous technological growth reflects the proof of education in the real time world. Right from the development of a fetus to the end of an individual's life, the trace of technology is remarkable. Education lays the foundation for such technological development. This chapter aims to bring about a study on the role of technology as shadow education. Various online learning systems, the methods adopted, and pros and cons of the system are to be discussed. The overall conclusion about the technology as shadow education is to be discussed. Comparative results based on the regular private tutoring system and the online learning system in the form of shadow education are to be investigated.
