“…Smart working can be regarded as an evolution of teleworking, but the adjective "smart" puts an emphasis on the potentially positive effects that this new modality is expected to bring about, for both companies and people: Kim et al (2017) argue that SM is "telework that individuals perform in a smart and innovative manner" by using devices for distant communication.
