A Study on the Characteristics of Reuse of Closed Schools and Changes in Usage Over Time in the Heisei Period

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the following three viewpoints, by analyzing reused cases of closed schools in Aichi, Gifu, Mie and Shizuoka prefectures in the Tokai region from 1989 to 2019 in the Heisei period.To clarify the reuse characteristics of closed schools in the Heisei period, including relationship between intention by local governments and actual use.To clarify the factors that affect to each use, by identifying regional attributes, building specifications, and common factors underlying these.To clarify the factors of regional attributes, building specifications for reuse, and characteristics of changes over time.
