A Study on the Characteristics and Policy Significance of Project for Children’s Playground in Amagasaki City

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to clarify the outline and transformation of the projects for establishing children's playground in Amagasaki City (Kodomo Hiroba) by organizing the project policies and actual conditions of the development of children's playground and to examine the characteristics and policy significance of the projects. Through the research, following were identified: 1) The characteristics of the project is it was established by using low-used or unused land obtained through cooperation with various sectors.2) The policy significance of this project is it has provided citizens with a variety of options for places to relax.
