A Study on Tensile Strain Distribution and Fracture Coordinate of Nanofiber Mat by Digital Image Correlation System

Abstract: Strain gauges are commonly used for tension tests to obtain the strain of a metal test specimen. They make contact, however, so the gauges are not applicable to every type of test specimen. That is the reason why a non-contact type measurement system is required. Nanofibrous mats, manufactured by electrospinning, have different structures and thicknesses.
