A Study on Registration Data Analysis of National Immunization Registry Information System

Abstract: In this study, the accuracy duplication and register rate of the vaccination registration data in National Immunization Registry Information System were evaluated and analyzed. Through which undocumented vaccination status data, duplicate data, missing data, errors data into the vaccination registration data were analyzed. In addition, the quality control for the vaccination registration database quality improvement, were proposed for standard error checking. In this paper, we propose an efficient validation o… Show more

“…Given that many different screening instruments have been developed and validated in Korea over the last decade, we also included studies that used new measures, such as the K-scale and the Internet Addiction Scale for Korean Adolescents. Young's IAT, 42 the K-scale, 48 and Lee, et al's 49 scale for measuring the behavioral symptoms of adult pathological internet use were included as measures of Internet addiction. The game addiction measures were relatively diverse and included the game addiction version of the IAT, the game addiction version of the K-scale, the Internet Game Addiction Scale, 50 the Internet Addiction Scale for Korean Adolescents, 51 the Maladaptive Game Use Scale, 52 Pathological Online Game Use Scale, 31 the Internet Addiction Index, 53 and the child version of the K-Scale.…”

“…Furthermore, very little information about the analysis of the potential difference in VE by vaccine strain was provided in the authors’ paper so we could not assess its validity. We think that in future cohort studies for addressing this issue, the following information needs to be clearly presented and considered in analysis: the degree of validity about the records of vaccine manufactures in the national immunization registry 17 18 ; the ending point of the follow-up for estimating the VE of one-dose UVV considering potential differences by vaccine type in the rates and timings of the secondary vaccination (albeit currently not recommended as part of the national immunization program for children in Korea); and the extent of missing data by vaccine strain for the secondary vaccination. 6 …”
