Abstract:Background: The purpose of this study was to assess tranexamic acid effectiveness in lowering perioperative blood loss in total hip arthroplasty. Materials and Methods: Two groups with a total of sixty patients were created. tranexamic acid was administered preoperatively to patients in Group A. patients in Group B did not receive tranexamic acid.
