Ubiquitous technologies have a great potential to enrich students' academic experience. Students are more interested in using interactive learning techniques apart from the traditional learning techniques. Several research studies for m-learning has been done in the USA, UK concentrating on students undergoing a graduation degree, especially subjects like engineering, arts, maths, science, etc. Hence the need has arisen to conduct a separate research on m-learning in the Indian context. This study proposes a modified UTAUT2 (unified theory of acceptance and use of technology) model with nine core independent determinants predicting the tenth dependent variables construct. Data analysis has been done using both the descriptive (frequency counts, percentages, and means) and inferential statistics (correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and principal component analysis). This study aims to develop a new model that encompasses the factors affecting the utilisation of ubiquitous technology among students in institutes of higher education, particularly in India.

Smartphones have become essential to daily life, pro- viding much more than communication services. Continuously, the device is getting ?smarter? and more complex with additional features and sensors. Configuring those features may not be so easy for new users, and making the Settings app easy to use is challenging. With this in mind, a search tool was indexed on its initial screen. However, it is still not efficient enough. While most Android search tools will try to match exactly the queried words, a more intuitive tool capable of finding content related to the meaning of those words would be desirably better. In this paper, we propose a solution based on word2vec model to encode the context of each screen in order to get more robust and intuitive search approach on the Android Settings application. Although the search problem has not been entirely solved yet, experiments showed satisfactory results, which include resolving more than 82% of cases that cannot be handled by the search tool embedded to the Android Settings

All applications are developed for context adaptation and provide communication with users through their interfaces. These applications offer new opportunities for developers as well as users by collecting context data and adapting systems behavior accordingly. Particularly, in mobile devices, these mechanisms provide usability increment tremendously. Rigid and non-adaptive interface blocks the features of context awareness. In this paper, we study methods, technologies and criteria which have been proposed specifically for adaptive interfaces. Based on these guidelines, we elaborate the intelligence of adaptivity and usage of context according to user mental model. Further, we have proposed a model to develop user context ontology (UCO) and adaptive interface ontology (AIO) to optimize the use of adaptive mobile interfaces in the context of user preferences. These ontologies organize the perceptions and thoughts of user. The philosophy of User Centered Design (UCD) is proposed to analyze the usability and validity of mobile device interfaces according to user contexts.
