A study of field strength height profiles caused by multipath fading

Abstract: The height dependence of the field strength was studied on a line-bf-sight link, 43 km in length, at 9.3 GHz. At the receiving site, 14 antennas sere mounted one above the other at 2 m spacing. Height profiles with deep fades or marked enhancements of the signal caused by multipath propagation were investigated.
