A Study of Distribution of Natural Radionuclides in Soils and Assessment of Exposure Hazards From Terrestrial -Radiation in the Region of Tsalka (Georgia)

Abstract: Gamma-spectroscopy method has been used to determine the activity concentrations (in Bq kg -1 ) of natural radionuclides such as 238 U, 232 Th, and 40 K in soil samples collected from Tsalka region of south Georgia. Based on which contents of radionuclides in soil (in g kg -1 and ppm) were calculated.
