A Study of Creatinine Level among Patients with Dyslipidemia and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Using Multilayer Perceptron and Multiple Linear Regression

Abstract: Background and Objective: Dyslipidemia is one of the most important risk factors for coronary heart disease with diabetes mellitus. Diabetic dyslipidemia is correlated with reduced concentrations of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, elevated concentrations of plasma triglycerides, and increased concentrations of dense small particles of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Furthermore, dyslipidemia is one of the factors that accelerate renal failure in patients with nephropathy that is observe… Show more

“…This research will aid medical professionals in spotting patients who are at risk for developing chronic diseases. The suggested approach helps to achieve the best level of predicting accuracy 27 . Furthermore, this approach can help policymakers and health professionals improve existing preventive measures, which can in turn help establish a new policy.…”

“…The term 'dyslipidemia', which has replaced the older term 'hyperlipidemia', describes the abnormal changes in body composition, mainly body fat and lipid profiles. Dyslipidemia is a significant risk factor for coronary heart disease with diabetes mellitus, which isrelatedto lower levels of highdensity lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, higher levels of plasma triglycerides, and higher levels of small dense particles of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol 18 . Lipid abnormalities are common in diabetes mellitus because insulin resistance or deficiency affects critical enzymes and pathways involved in lipid metabolism 20 .…”
