The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between common rationality (as a factor of convergence of employees and managers), collective decision-making (as one of the important methods of participation), and productivity (as an important indicator of organizational success). Structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to investigate the strength of these relationships. After the distribution of 98 questionnaires among organizational experts we used Smart PLS 2.0 to analyze the data. The results show that the indirect relationship between common rationality and productivity through a mediating variable of collective decision-making is stronger than the direct effect of common rationality on productivity. It means that common rationality as a substantial asset for an organization could be used to improve productivity but if managers want to utilize this asset, they should apply it through another mediator which is collective decision-making. Collective decision-making could facilitate the relationship between common rationality and productivity by creating synergy among employees, reducing biases, increasing decision quality, and reaching the optimal decision.

Мета роботи: Дослідження та створення ефективних методів вдосконалення стратегічного менеджменту з метою розвитку міжнародних компаній на основі впровадження крос-функціонального підходу. Дизайн / Метод / Підхід дослідження: Використано процесний підхід, структурний аналіз, квантитативний аналіз, діалектичний, абстрактно-логічний метод пізнання, факторний, порівняльний підходи, методи емпіричного узагальнення, інтегральної оцінки, стратегічного аналізу, а також прийоми матричної та графічної візуалізації статистичних даних. Результати дослідження: Розроблено концептуальні положення стратегічного менеджменту щодо розвитку ринкової діяльності міжнародних компаній, які враховують специфіку реалізації функцій стратегічного планування, що базуються на результатах структурування проблем науково-технологічного розвитку з урахуванням основних положень корпоративного управління, що розкривають вимоги до процесу стратегічного менеджменту при прийнятті ефективних управлінських рішень у середовищі міжнародних компаній. Розроблено методичний підхід щодо оцінки системи стратегічного менеджменту розвитку міжнародних компаній, що базується на оцінці елементів, що входять до її складу, що відрізняється визначенням інтегрального показника стратегічного планування в залежності від величини займаної площі на оціночній матриці, що враховує сукупність ресурсів, що використовуються компанією для освоєння або утримання міжнародних ринків. Запропоновано підхід до формування проектної команди, що здійснює стратегічне планування розвитку міжнародної компанії, що базується на реалізації принципу крос-функціональності, що дозволяє врахувати мотиваційні та демотиваційні фактори, що впливають на розвиток членів проектної групи та здійснювати поточне регулювання команди врахуванням міжфункціональної взаємодії її членів при реалізації окремих компетенцій застосування в компанії системного підходу в корпоративному менеджменті. Теоретична цінність дослідження: Теоретична значущість дослідження полягає в обґрунтуванні положень, що актуалізують методичні підходи реалізації стратегій міжнародних компаній з урахуванням їх галузевої належності, про застосування специфічних методів та інструментів стратегічного менеджменту, моделювання вибору пріоритетних напрямків ринкового розвитку. Практична цінність дослідження: Практичне значення дослідження полягає в тому, що висновки та рекомендації можуть бути використані міжнародними компаніями під час удосконалення системного забезпечення системи стратегічного менеджменту, а також практичного застосування обґрунтованих положень для розвитку ринкової присутності і ведення конкурентної боротьби. Оригінальність / Цінність дослідження: Сформовано адаптивну систему стратегічного менеджменту розвитку міжнародних компаній на засадах крос-функціонального підходу, що відрізняється структурною композицією (керуюча, керована, забезпечуюча підсистеми), що враховує вплив вхідних факторів внутрішнього середовища, націлена на отримання ефективних стратегічних рішень у галузі визначення пріоритетних напрямків корпоративного розвитку. Обмеження дослідження / Майбутні дослідження: Отримані в ході дослідження висновки та результати суттєво розвивають теоретичний апарат дослідження системи стратегічного менеджменту міжнародних компаній та можуть бути використані під час проведення подальших розробок з проблем удосконалення стратегічного процесу в міжнародному корпоративному секторі. Welcome to issue 15.1 of the Journal of Work Applied Management. This general issue is once again an international collection demonstrating the expanding reach of the journal. Yet, as a general issue (as opposed to a special issue), it is unusual to see strong patterns across the submissions accepted for publication. In this issue, we can observe distinct strands in the papersconceptual, disruptive, pragmatic and relational. In some ways, this is not surprising given that the nature of applied methodsin scholarly environments at leastshould have these dimensions.Applied research with such dimensions resists the ongoing claims that "Most business school research 'lacks real-world relevance'" (see https://www.timeshighereducation.com/ news/most-business-school-research-lacks-real-world-relevance). Indeed, there is increasing literature which intentionally entangles the conceptual, disruptive, pragmatic and relational, and is often described as the scholarship of practice (for example, Crist and Kielhofner, 2005; Van de Ven, 2007;Ramsey, 2014). For example, Anderson, Rigg and colleagues have spent some time articulating how these dimensions interact (or refract) to create impact in organisations (Anderson et al., 2017;Rigg et al., 2022). However, these dimensions are not always present in work-based learning or applied methods as they can fall into the technocratic trap of simply improving efficiency of organisational imperatives over societal benefit (Sun and Kang, 2015). The brute circumstances and imperatives of war are an all too current reminder of how other ideological forces drive human behaviour (also see Stokes and Gabriel, 2010).The conceptual domain should not be proxied as simply "academic" or "theoretical" only; indeed, Ramsey's (2005Ramsey's ( , 2011 work reminds us that "theory" can not only direct practice, but inspire it in unpredictable and creative but actionable ways. There are some papers in this issue which can be engaged with in such modes. The first paper is by Nalweyiso et al. (2023), entitled "Theorizing Relational People Management in Micro Enterprises: A Multi-Theoretical Perspective". Here, the authors pull together some interesting conceptual work which helps to explore creative ideation within the context of micro enterprises. Here, the relational tactics of people within these organisations are paramount to the creative climate that is created and the ways creative solutions emerge. This impacts the friendliness of support and how conflicts are mediated and managed. It is possible to see how such conceptual work could inform interventions in micro enterprises for organisational development and growth.The second paper is by Priyashantha (2023) and is entitled "Disruptive Technologies for Human Resource Management: a conceptual framework development and research agenda". The author's work helps us understandand potentially predictthe ways in which digital HRM systems might have major changes on an organisation. Conceptually this can include JWAM 15,1 2
