A Spontaneous Ring‐Opening Reaction Leads to a Repair‐Resistant Thymine Oxidation Product in Genomic DNA

Abstract: The alphabet of modified DNA bases goes beyondt he conventional four letters, with biological roles being found for many such modifications.
