A Software Package for the Steady State and Dynamic Simulation of Induction Motor Drives

Abstract: A software package that simulates the steady state and transient performance of several induction motor drives is described. Included in the package are converter, inverter and slip energy recovery drives. The simulation incorporates a basis transformed state space formulation that results in a very clean, modular software structure together with significant numerical efficiencies.
