Abstract: Introduction: Severe dermal pain triggered by sweating stimuli, such as bathing, exercise, and mental stress, significantly affects patients’ daily lives. The pathomechanism underlying the sweating-induced dermal pain remains poorly understood and there exists no standard treatment for such pain.
