Abstract: BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE:A standardized and validated method to measure brain shifts in malignant middle cerebral artery (MCA) stroke with decompressive hemicraniectomy (DHC) could facilitate clinical decision making, prognostication, and comparison of results between studies.
