A simple model of hysteresis for smart actuators

Abstract: A novel phenomenal model for hysteresis in smart actuators is proposed in this paper. One of the features of this model is that it does not include any basis functions. Hence, it has much simpler structure than the well known Preisach model, KP model and PI model. Another feature of this model is that it does not rely on any differential variables.
