A Simple Dynamic Model for Mitochondrial Metabolism

Abstract: A simple dynamical model is proposed in this paper to describe the main timevarying quantities in mitochondrial metabolism. The model is given in the form of kinetic ordinary differential equations containing 11 state equations. The parameters of the model were determined from the literature or from the authors' own laboratory measurements. The obtained simulation result is in good agreement with actual observation for simulating an ischemic process.
