Abstract:A simple approach for design of coaxial reflection coefficient standards has been described. Coaxial transfer standards of voltage standing-wave ratios 1.30 and 1.50 have been designed at 4 GHz in the form of a step-up quarter-wave coaxial line terminated by a precision match termination. The uncertainties in the reflection coefficient magnitude of the coaxial standards due to the effect of discontinuity susceptances, dimensional tolerances, and reflection from the match termination have been presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
