A Short-Range Ship Navigation System Based on Ladar Imaging and Target Tracking for Improved Safety and Efficiency

Abstract: A new maritime navigation system based on a laser rangefinder scanner for obstacle avoidance and precise maneuvering operations is described in this paper.
