“…As part of the New York City Hispanic Dementia Caregiver Research Program, our team has studied the information, communication, and online tool needs of Hispanic informal caregivers of individuals with AD/ADRD (Iribarren et al, 2019); examined family caregivers’ levels of knowledge, experience, and awareness of self-management and the implications for design of online interventions (Lucero et al, 2019); applied visual analytics to assess caregiver collages developed during the participatory design process for a Family Health Information Management System (Woollen, Scott, Lucero, & Bakken, 2019); and developed infographics for communicating functional status and caregiving burden (Arcia et al, 2019; Arcia, Suero-Tejeda, & Bakken, 2019).
