A Review Study on Bicomponent (Bico) Fibre/ Filament

Abstract: Bi-component fibers are fibers that in a single fiber consist of two distinct raw material components. It is made by simultaneously spinning two compositions in each capillary of the spinneret. Core-sheath (C/S), side-by-side (S/S), segmented-pie (orange) and islands in-the-sea (I/S) are the most common types of bico fibers.
