“…This concentration quenching is due to increased ion–ion interaction, provoked by the shorter distance between the interacting activators as the concentration increases. The fluorescence light spectral profile as a function of activator concentration was examined and the results indicated that the chromaticity coordinates of the overall emission light changed, resulting in different colours for the overall emission light at different concentrations .
