Abstract:A native of tropical America (Brazil), passion fruit (Passiflora edulis F. Flavicarpa) is a desirable, high-value crop that is a member of the Passifloraceae family. The fruits of the yellow species (Passiflora edulis F. Flavicarpa) are almost round to oval in shape, with a stiff peel that is smooth and waxy, and weigh approximately 35-40 grams.
