A review on pharmacological aspects of Canavalia rosea

Abstract: Canavalia rosea is a leguminous, sand dune plant, commonly known as "beach bean or jack bean" in India.The plant shows the pantropical distribution, in America, Asia, Antilles, Africa, and Oceania. It has bioactive compounds, namely tannins, phlorotannins, saponins, flavonoids, alkaloids, cardiac glycosides and phenolics.
