The recognition of these structures associated with LPIA deposits in SW Gondwana has resulted in different models depicting the distribution of ice centers (e.g., Frakes and Crowell, 1969, 1970Crowell and Frakes, 1972;Martin, 1981;Santos et al, 1996;Isbell et al, 2012;Limarino et al, 2014;Rosa et al, 2016).
