Abstract:Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is an immune-mediated disease that affects peripheral nerves and can lead to life-threatening consequences. It affects around 10000 people per year worldwide. Since the outbreak of acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (sar-cov-2) the incidence of GBS has been increased with a fatality rate of 4-7%.
