A Review on Calculating Carbon Footprint of an Educational Institute

Abstract

Carbon footprint is the carbon emitted from various greenhouse gases during any activity within or outside its operational boundary. Presently various building operations are contributing significantly towards the carbon footprint. Various commercial and public buildings are thus under observations for such calculations. Educational institutes around the world have gained special popularity in the direction of calculating the carbon footprint, as these have huge potential towards fulfilling the goal of sustainable planet.
