A Review of the Trematode Genus Astiotrema in the Family Plagiorchiidae

Abstract: In a critical review of the genus, the authors after studying ample material arrived at the conclusion that only four of the twenty-one species are valid. The shape of the testes is shown to vary from smooth to deeply lobed, and minor differences in the sucker ratios are considered invalid.
