Cyber-physical systems (CPS) are recognized for their intelligence as they seamlessly interact with humans, enhancing the physical world through computation, communication, and control. Over the last few years, the evolution of CPS, including IoT components, has significantly impacted many facets of people's lifestyles. It has been immersed in a wide range of services and applications in various areas, including manufacturing, healthcare, and energy. However, the interrelationship between the cyber and physical worlds gives rise to a multitude of research problems and challenges. In the healthcare field, for instance, CPS introduces complexities related to interoperability, privacy, data security, and real-time data processing with critical implications for the reliability and safety of medical processes. To address these challenges and harness the full potential of CPS in healthcare, this paper, through a comprehensive literature review, aims to discuss cutting-edge CPS technologies and solutions that hold promise for healthcare applications. To this end, we propose a comprehensive architectural model that can serve as a benchmark for implementing CPS in healthcare applications. This model thoroughly details how services, components, and technologies can be integrated to transform massive raw data collected from the physical world into valuable information for an enhanced decision-making process. Finally, a use case on healthcare CPS is presented, outlining its characteristics, the role that different technologies have played in its development, and the major challenges in implementing such systems successfully. This study provides a cohesive understanding of the role CPS can play in empowering healthcare while offering insights into the challenges, and future research trends.INDEX TERMS Cyber-physical systems, Healthcare, Real-Time processing, IoT.

A revised version of the ISO9001:2015 quality management system is an indispensable element for a corporation to survive against the severe competition and maintain sustainable, competitive superiority, as well as a new outlook. With this in mind, the first purpose of this research was to seek customer satisfaction through the continuous improvement of the organization in the IoT industry. Furthermore, it aimed to lay a foundation for a preemptive response and formulate a management strategy regarding the continuity of the business. Simultaneously, we explored whether the scale items of the lower-ranking level resulting from the latent variables in the main provision of the revised edition are the variables that can sufficiently explain the latent variables. Furthermore, the statistical programs of the SPSS22.0 and the AMOS18.0 were utilized for analysis. The results demonstrated that corporations can achieve customer satisfaction through continuous improvements concerning the successful introduction and conversion of the new quality management system. It was confirmed that the core variables of the revised edition sufficiently explained the latent variables. Consequently, it is imperative to understand the latent risks from the internal and external environments surrounding the organization and formulate the short-term and long-term strategies of the organization on the part of a corporation.

A Cyber–Physical–Social System (CPSS) is an evolving subset of Cyber–Physical Systems (CPS), which involve the interlinking of the cyber, physical, and social domains within a system-of-systems mindset. CPSS is in a growing state, which combines secure digital technologies with physical systems (e.g., sensors and actuators) and incorporates social aspects (e.g., human interactions and behaviors, and societal norms) to facilitate automated and secure services to end-users and organisations. This paper reviews the field of CPSS, especially in the scope of complexity theory and cyber security to determine its impact on CPS and social media’s influence activities. The significance of CPSS lies in its potential to provide solutions to complex societal problems that are difficult to address through traditional approaches. With the integration of physical, social, and cyber components, CPSS can realize the full potential of IoT, big data analytics, and machine learning, leading to increased efficiency, improved sustainability and better decision making. CPSS presents exciting opportunities for innovation and advancement in multiple domains, improving the quality of life for people around the world. Research challenges to CPSS include the integration of hard and soft system components within all three domains, in addition to sociological metrics, data security, processing optimization and ethical implications. The findings of this paper note key research trends in the fields of CPSS, and recent novel contributions, followed by identified research gaps and future work.
