A review of psychoanalytic outcome research

Abstract: A review is given from the beginning of psychoanalysis till our days. The main research projects till 1991. that had been conducted according to model of ‘unified science’ are reported. The major research contributions and shortcomings are given and Pfeiffer methodology developed exclusively for psychoanalysis is specifically discussed.
