A Review of Dental Technician's Pneumoconiosis: Three Case Reports

Abstract: Dental technician's pneumoconiosis is a newly described, rare, and distinct type of pneumoconiosis. It is a result of direct exposure to dental alloy, acrylic resin, quartz, carbon, silica, and hard metal dust that are abundant in the air respired by dental technicians. We report herein three patients with respiratory complaints who were diagnosed with dental technician's pneumoconiosis.
