A Retrofit Hierarchical Architecture for Real-Time Optimization and Control Integration

Abstract: To achieve the optimal operation of chemical processes in the presence of disturbances and uncertainty, a retrofit hierarchical architecture (HA) integrating real-time optimization (RTO) and control was proposed.
