Abstract:Plasma ignition and combustion enhancement is a promising technology in applications of engines, industrial burners, pollutant emissions controls, etc. A new repetitive electrothermal plasma jet ignition system based on ablated capillary discharge under atmospheric pressure is presented in this paper.
