Setting up observation points and combining artificial occasional surveys is the traditional diagnosis and prevention of wheat diseases, pests and weeds, which cannot monitor and control the diseases, pests and weeds in real time. To this, the paper put forward introducing the Internet of things in the monitoring process of wheat diseases, pests and weeds, and building intelligent monitor system of wheat diseases, pests and weeds based on lOT. The system uses ZigBee network to connect the terminal sensing devices, and connect the big data platform by lOT. The system will use a large amount of data collected by lOT terminal to build a big data platform, and build intelligent warning system of wheat diseases, pest and weeds based on the platform. The users can monitor what is happening to the wheat using PC or hand-held terminal. The practice shows that the system has a very good application value. I NTRODUCT ION With the rise of the Internet of things, the Internet of things has brought the huge opportunities for the development of science and social economy. The Internet of things using the new frame structure will lead to the reconstruction of the entire Internet system, and become a strong power of promoting technology innovation and economic development. So the advanced countries such as Europe and America have joined in the related field, and the Internet of things has been a research hot of future high-tech field. In China, agriculture is in a transition period from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, the Internet of things will play an important role. Making full use of lOT to develop modern agriculture, also become one of the hot topics of curr ent agricultural development in advanced countries. The advanced countries especially Europe and America promote agricultural information network in all direction to manage and control crop production. This effectively promoted the improvement of the overall level of agriculture.Modem peasants will face many problems related to agriculture, such as the environment temperature, humidity, soil conditions, and unpredictable rainfall. It is difficult for them to analyze the hazards faced by the crop from these data.This will lead to serious consequences. If someone can use the sensor to collect some data such as environmental temperature, 978-1-4799-2951-1/14/$31.00 ©2014 IEEE 981 soil moisture, atmospheric environment, and use modem computer technology such as big data, cloud computing to integrate these data, and then effectively forecast the hazards that the crops will faced.
