Abstract:A definição da Organização Mundial da Saúde para o Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC) envolve a rápida manifestação de disfunções focais nas atividades cerebrais. Existem dois tipos de fatores que prejudicam a prevenção e tratamento do AVC que são os modificáveis e os não modificáveis.
