Abstract:Resumo. O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar como os historiadores Carlo Ginzburg, Jörn Rüsen e Josep Fontana responderam às teses "céticas" (ditas também "pós-modernas") sobre a elaboração do texto histórico que foram produzidas desde, pelo menos, o século XIX, mas ganharam novos contornos a partir da década de 1960, com a "virada linguística", em especial, na obra de Hayden White.
