This paper examines how Hadith of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W allow the right of parents to educate their children by beating (fadhribûhum) when they are reluctant to establish prayers. Therefore, education is often used as a justification to hit students whether parents to their children or teachers to their students. Researchers have attempted to interpret the fadhribûhum's pronunciations in many meanings such as light blows, harmless, blows / hearts and others in order to suggest if Islamic education does not tolerate beatings. Apart from the various understanding of the pronunciation of beating the child in the hadith, it is undeniable that the spell of hitting in education is indeed presented in the Qur'an and the traditions that Muslims believe as the source of the teachings. Although results of the study mentions that the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W never hit the child and his students but the appearance of the verse and the hadith is not without the purpose of goodness. The phenomenon of children's involvement in criminal acts such as theft, murder, drug abuse and even rape indicates that the hadiths that legalize beatings on the child are apparently necessary to educate (ta`dib) those who deserve such an education. This paper is explored by library research thorugh collecting literature materials related to the topic of study, separating, reading, analyzing and drawing a conclusion.

Previous studies have investigated the community's perspectives on local languages' existence due to exposures to various languages in residential areas or through formal education in secondary schools.However, there is a lack of evidence on the research of university students' perspectives on local languages' existence because they are exposed to international languages as a result of learning and the vast development of technology. Therefore, the current study investigates English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students' beliefs on local languages' existence in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In order to measure intangibles, survey research with a one-shot design was conducted following the techniques of planning, defining the population, sampling, constructing the instrument, conducting the survey, and processing the data. The participants of this study were university students majoring in English Language Education and the setting of this study was at one public university in Central Kalimantan Province of Indonesia. A questionnaire in the open-and close-ended questions was distributed to collect data. The current study results confirm that the majority of the participants were active users of local languages and were exposed to international languages (English, Korean, Japanese) through education and entertainment. The participants positively viewed the local languages' existence amidst the exposure of international languages because the local languages were still used in daily life and parts of culture that had been inherited for generations. Furthermore, the participants had taken action to preserve their local languages by continuously using local languages in their family and friendship domains both in the real world and through social media.

In the Minangkabau language of Indonesia, the class of nouns can have multiple forms, which are used frequently in everyday conversation. The Minangkabau language contains examples of both of these types of word reduplication. According to our line of reasoning, reduplication occurs when the Minangkabau language, which is currently in a relatively complex linguistic state, becomes one of the internal states with power in speech when the speaker delivers it. In addition to the functions and meanings that emerge as a direct consequence of these replications, the phenomenon provides very convincing evidence. First, this article describes the various types of reduplication found within the class of nouns in the Minangkabau language. After that, the functions and meanings derived from each type of reduplication will be found. Specifically, the article focuses on the duplication of nouns and discusses the reduplication of adjectives and verbs. To accomplish this goal, the distributional method and various applications of the technique are the approaches that are taken as their respective approaches. As a result of the findings of the analysis, several distinct types of reduplication forms were found to exist within the Minangkabau language. The first category included nothing but nouns that were used repeatedly. The second point is that the affix is present within the noun itself. Third, the term "pseudo-repetitive nouns" is repeated within the noun. The meaning conveyed by the duplication of the nomina in the Minangkabau language includes the following: the sense of similarity; the sense of plural; the sense of intensity or emphasis; and the sense of similarity.
