Abstract: Introduction: It is common for the liver to be supplied blood by a hepatic artery branching off the coeliac trunk. Occasionally, a replaced common hepatic artery (RCHA), emerges from the superior mesenteric artery (SMA), can supply the liver in 1.5–4.0% of cases.
