A rare coexistence of acute thrombotic occlusion of the left popliteal-tibioperoneal artery and the left iliofemoral vein: a case report

Abstract: Background: Acute arterial occlusion is a vascular emergency, which is characterized by a sudden interrupted perfusion of the limbs and deep vein thrombosis is a common complication of long-term hospitalizations and a preventable cause of in-hospital deaths.
