A Rare Cause of Urinary Retention in Women: Urethral Caruncle

Abstract: Urethral caruncle is a benign lesion commonly encountered in women. Most of these lesions are smaller than 1 cm and are asymptomatic. In the present case report, the case of a 39 years old woman who applied to emergency department with acute urinary retention due to urethral caruncle was discussed with a literature review.
