Abstract: Background: Birt-Hogg-Dube syndrome (BHDS), also known as Hornstein–Knickenberg syndrome is a rare, autosomal dominant genetic disorder characterized by a triad of clinical manifestations: skin fibrofolliculomas, renal tumors, and multiple pulmonary cysts.
