A rare case of internal hernia through the foramen of Winslow

Abstract: Internal hernia is a rare cause of intestinal obstruction. The risk of internal herniation is higher in some patients after abdominal surgery or with certain anatomical anomalies. Here, we present a case of an 80-year-old patient with incarcerated internal hernia through the foramen of Winslow due to an anatomical abnormality.
