A Rare Case of Acute Necrotizing Pancreatitis Infected With Prevotella Species

Abstract: Acute pancreatitis is one of the leading causes of gastrointestinal-related hospitalizations in the United States. One of the complications of acute pancreatitis is infected pancreatic necrosis. We present a rare case of acute necrotizing pancreatitis infected with Prevotella species in a young patient.
