Abstract:Basal cell adenoma (BCA) is an uncommon, benign salivary tumor comprising 1-3% of salivary tumors. These tumors occur more commonly in women and patients older than 50 years of age. Patients typically present with a slow growing, well circumscribed mass. Overall BCA has a good prognosis with low rates of recurrence and malignant transformation.
