A Rapid Assay of Mezlocillin Sodium by Flow-Injection Chemiluminescence Detection

Abstract: A new chemiluminescence method coupled with the flow injection technique for the determination of mezlocillin sodium was developed. It was based on the enhancement of mezlocillin sodium on the chemiluminescence reaction of luminol with potassium ferricyanide in alkaline medium. Under the optimum conditions, the linear range for mezlocillin sodium was from 2.0 × 10 -7 to 5.0 × 10 -5 g mL -1 and the limit of detection was 6.8 × 10 -9 g mL -1 . The relative standard deviation (n = 11) was 0.31 % for 8.0 × 10 -6 g… Show more

“…It is not surprising to observe excellent thermal stability in the Ca 1– x RE x Ag 1– y Sb series. Many related complex antimonide Zintl phases, such as Yb 14 MnSb 11 , A 10 LaCdSb 9 (A = Ca, Yb), Yb 11 TrSb 9 (Tr = Ga, In), have already been reported to be thermally stable up to very high temperature. The typical TG-DSC behavior, represented by Ca 0.84(1) Ce 0.16(1) Ag 0.90(2) Sb, is shown in Figure and compared side-by-side with that of the undoped CaAgSb compound.…”
