Abstract:Background: The incidence of unanticipated difficult airways is higher in pediatric age groups than in adults due to the different airway anatomy, difficulty in airway examination, and congenital malformations. Rocuronium bromide has a comparable onset time to succinylcholine at its proportionate dose.
