“…However, it is necessary to go beyond the concept of presence to examine the role of this personality trait in other, possibly more concrete aspects of the VR user experience, including immersion, engagement, flow, emotion, etc. (Tcha-Tokey et al, 2016).…”

“…Especially in immersive VR, tracking the user action such as inputs can be difficult and requires special attention to ensure an accurate reconstruction (Howie and Gilardi, 2020). Beyond measuring participants performance in VR, it is often useful to measure their attitudes with surveys (Grübel et al, 2016;Tcha-Tokey et al, 2016) (Grübel et al, 2016) for subjective measures and if possible their physiological reaction (Weibel et al, 2018) to underpin the mechanism investigated in a study beyond self-report and task completion. Keeping only pre-analyzed results such as orientation error is argued to simplify research , but this does not account for calculation errors as occurred in some research projects requiring a redo.…”

“…In the present research, an adapted version of the Questionnaire on User eXperience in Immersive Virtual Environments (QUXiVE) was used to measure user experience. It is a standardized questionnaire validated by Tcha-Tokey et al [62,63]. The definition of user experience (UX) according to the ISO 9241-210 standard is "The user's perceptions and responses resulting from the use of a system or a service".…”
