A quantitative evaluation of a regional Positive Behavioural Support workforce development approach

A combination of bespoke rating scales, standard questionnaires, periodic service review and staff reports were used (McKenzie et al, 2021). The findings suggest trained staff demonstrated a better understanding of the reasons for why behaviours that challenge occur, produced better Behaviour Support Plans, that understood the needs of the person, attempted to promote a better quality of life and were implemented with greater integrity.…”
